Service Agreement

Last updated October 7, 2026

Please read this agreement before you pay. If anything is unclear, ask us first at hello@meridianjourneys.co or (626) 590-1435.

  1. 1. Who this agreement is between

This Service Agreement is between Meridian Journeys (“we”, “us”) and the person who purchases a planning package (“you”). By paying for a package, you confirm that you have read and agree to it.

  2. 2. What we provide

We provide travel planning services: researching and designing your trip, and preparing a day-by-day itinerary and a checklist of things to do before and during your trip. The exact deliverables, destinations, trip length, support and number of revisions depend on the package you choose (Essential, Classic, Signature or Bespoke), as described on our website and confirmed with you in writing.

For Bespoke packages, scope and price are agreed in writing after a consultation and before you pay.

  3. 3. What we do not provide

We are a planning service, not an airline, hotel, tour operator or ticket seller. We do not sell, book or issue airline tickets or hotel stays, and we do not charge commissions or markups on them. Where a package includes shortlists, links or reservation help, you pay the airline, hotel or other provider directly, at their price, under their terms.

We do not provide legal, immigration, medical or insurance advice. Entry, visa, health and customs requirements change; you are responsible for confirming them with official sources before you travel.

  4. 4. Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate and complete information, including traveller names, dates, budget, health or mobility needs and preferences, and to respond to our questions in a timely way. Delays or incomplete information on your side may delay delivery.

You are responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccinations and other travel documents, for booking and paying for your own travel, and for reading the terms of every provider you book with. We strongly recommend travel insurance.

  5. 5. Timeline and revisions

We begin work once we have received your payment and your completed planning questionnaire. We aim to deliver your first draft within 10 business days after that. Bespoke timelines are agreed in writing.

Each package includes the number of revision rounds listed for it. A revision round is a set of changes you send to us together, within the same scope of trip. Changes that materially alter the trip, such as new destinations or a significantly different length or budget, may be treated as new work and quoted separately.

  6. 6. Fees and payment

Our fee is the package price in US dollars. Payment is due in full before we begin work. We will send you a secure payment link or bank-transfer details; we never ask you to pay by gift card or cryptocurrency.

Our fee covers planning only. It does not include flights, accommodation, tours, transport, insurance, visas, or any other cost you pay to a third party.

  7. 7. Cancellations and refunds

Before we begin work: if you cancel before we have started planning, you will receive a full refund.

After work begins and before we deliver your first draft: we will keep 50% of the package price for the time already spent and refund the rest.

After we deliver your first draft: the fee is non-refundable, because the planning work has been delivered to you.

If we are unable to complete the services for any reason within our control, you will receive a full refund of any amount not yet earned. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

  8. 8. If you have a concern about a payment

If you are unhappy with any part of our service or do not recognise a charge, please contact us first at the email or phone number below. We will respond within two business days and will work in good faith to resolve it. We ask that you give us 14 days to do so before disputing a payment with your bank or card issuer. Nothing in this agreement limits any right you have under law or under your card issuer’s rules.

  9. 9. Your plan and how you may use it

Your itinerary and checklist are for you and your travelling party’s personal use. Please do not resell, publish or share them commercially. We keep ownership of our templates and methods.

  10. 10. Travel is unpredictable

Prices, schedules, opening hours and availability are set by third parties and can change without notice. We take care to research accurately, but we cannot guarantee any third party’s services, and we are not responsible for cancellations, delays, closures, price changes, denied entry, illness, accidents, weather or other events outside our control.

  11. 11. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to our services is limited to the fees you paid us for the package concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost bookings, non-refundable travel costs or lost enjoyment. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

  12. 12. Your information

We use the information you give us to plan your trip and to communicate with you. We do not sell it. If a package includes reservations, we share the details needed (such as names and dates) with the relevant provider, only for that purpose.

  13. 13. General

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes that we cannot resolve informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

This agreement, together with the package description we confirm with you, is the whole agreement between us. We may update these terms for future purchases; the version in effect when you pay applies to your purchase. Accepting this agreement electronically, including by paying after being shown it, has the same effect as a handwritten signature.
